I have been consulting independently with clients in different industries since 2007, and developing on the Microsoft platform for over 25 years. For 11 years until February 2023, I built and maintained the logistics, warehousing and inventory management systems for ConvergEX Distribution Management in Johannesburg, South Africa - and for eLogX Solutions LLC in Tampa, Florida.
Since March 2023, I have been working with Veritimo, Inc. to support, maintain and build new functionality for United Way of Greater Los Angeles, one of the largest fundraising organisations in the United States - built on top of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform and using the Microsoft Azure Web Functions and Jobs to manage workflow.

I enjoy spending time learning and practising calligraphy & artistic lettering. It's an age-old craft that can be as simple or complex as one is in the mood for, allowing strict rules for some styles and the freedom to express creativity in others. Typography is another interest, learning how it is used in print and web content layout.
A keen interest is the study of Sanskrit, a classical language belonging to the Indo-Aryan branch of the Indo-European languages. This has helped me delve more deeply into scriptures and other older texts from India.
I enjoy spending time studying Western philosophies like Plato, Socrates & Ficino, as well as Eastern philosophies like Taoism, The Mahabharata & The Srimad Bhagavatam.
In my free time I love spending time with my wife and children, taking in the beauty of Mossel Bay and the scenery of the Eden District of the Western Cape.
